Imperial Russian Army: Dress & Everyday Insignia

Following the series that started with the Navy, here is the chart of ranks and insignia of the Imperial Russian Army in the 21st century.

As you can see by the examples, the piping colors in the visor cap matches those of the branch of service. Example: a Medical officer displays red-green piping, while a Grenadier Guard officer displays light yellow piping, and an Infantry officer, red piping. A member of His Imperial Majesty's Retinue shows white-red piping, and so on. For more information, check out the Branch Color chart.
